Hornor Wisner, Jr. on 22 January 1909. Mrs. Coates likely presented or sent this book of poetry to John H. Wisner,
Jr. (who was Florence's husband Edward's first cousin twice removed) shortly after his return to the U.S. on 18 December 1908.
Wisner was born in Shanghai, China in 1879; his father was a merchant in the China trade. Also pasted inside the
book was a platinum print photograph of Mrs. Coates.
Copy 3: 1905 Reprint edition; inscribed by author; bookplate
of previous owner, May Louise Shipp [and sister Margaret]. This copy was given away as a gift in 2010.
